INTERGALACTIC SURVIVORS
OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE
Intergalactic Survivors of the Armenian Genocide is a story about time travel, far-off galaxies, Armenian archetypes,
futures past, and the interpretation of all that is constant and changing in the forever.
It’s also a story about four people getting into a spaceship and going back and forth into time, making history become a work in progress, rather than a finished product.
The story follows Captain Siamanto and four heroes (among so many others...) in their adventures across time and space, in their attempts to right tragic wrongs, uncover the origins of their beings, and eventually find some peace--and their friends--across the millennia.
We travel with them, thousands of years into the future and past, until our notions of past and future become almost interchangeable, and, throughout it all, we are constantly enlightened and delighted by both the gravity and lightness of this journey.
We’re sure you’ll run into yourself, and others, once you get on board.
The Intergalactic sections below feature excerpts from forthcoming Intergalactic publications and projects, as well as incredible artwork drawn meticulously for this endeavor by master artist and painter, David Mkrtchyan, (as well as some of my own), as samples of what is to come.
We are able to sustain our projects through support from our dear friends and future sales from the AKMI|PRESS= where we feature apparel with original artworks by myself--Ara Mgrdichian--and David Mkrtchyan.
So, if the spirit moves you, please feel free to contact us via the Contact Bottons at the bottom of each page on this site to get more information, donate, and/or find out about upcoming crowdfunding projects, as well as community and web-based readings, exhibitions, and events.
We deeply appreciate your interest, support, and kind words in regards to this and many other AKMI|PRESS= projects.
